Father Damien Day

Move Those Less Fortunate Than Thou

Father Damien of Molokai was the epitome of what a Saint is and should be, both literally and figuratively. Originally from Belgium, he spent the majority of his adult life in the territories of Hawaii, doing good deeds, building infrastructure, and caring for the leper community of the islands, the most ostracized of the entire population.
He took the people who society most feared and shunned and spent years showing them that humanity did still care and have compassion. Unfortunately, it ended up costing him his life, as he himself caught the disease and succumbed to its force.
Father Damien Day is a reminder to us all that goodness is both possible, reachable, but not to be taken for granted. In a world without people doing good, each one of us should stand up to be that person, even if it is against the grain and even if it doesn’t reap immediate rewards. Good for the sake of good is the most important thing.
At Perfect Moving, we both live by Father Damien’s mantra and look to help spread his message through all of our business. No matter who you are, who your family is, where you’re moving from and where you’re moving to, no matter the situation given, we will be with you, treat you like family, and give you the highest quality move you could ever hope for. We treat every customer with the same, utmost caring and respect, and we are proud of it.
